Mental Health, Pregnancy and Postnatal Period

The aim of the training is to:

Outline the mental health conditions that could arise in the perinatal period and the risks that are associated, and to signpost students to available services and support.

During this course the students will:

-Identify the mental health conditions that can occur during the perinatal stage, how likely it is to occur and what they look like.

-Recognise the interventions that are available to them.
