Mental health recovery and employment services consultation public meeting...
Thu 4 May 2017, 14:00 – 16:30 BST
The NHS in Birmingham is consulting on proposals for improvements in mental health day services
The consultation is running from 1 March 2017 until 26 May 2017 on proposed changes to some of the mental health services it buys from third sector organisations.
The consultation will be gathering views on a number of components. These include creating “Recovery Centre’s” for people with serious mental illnesses and offering service users support with their employment options.
The change would also mean one single provider of the services, which could be one organisation or a number of organisations working as a partnership. The aim of which is to ensure that patients from across Birmingham receive the same high quality service, regardless of where they live in the city.
This public meeting will run through the proposals and seek views on them.
