Tea/coffee will be available, but we are unable to provide lunch so please bring your own.
Parking available on site.

In this 4 hour workshop we will cover:

What do we mean by ‘recovery’ in relation to mental health and substance use difficulties?
How the mental health system fits together – tiers of service and ‘stepped care’.
What mental health treatment works when people are still using substances.
A more detailed look at services, their offer, thresholds /criteria and referral pathways.
Third sector –eg MIND, Sue Lambert Trust, Menscraft.
NHS – eg Recovery College, Talking Therapies, Primary Care, CMHT.
Urgent and emergency services – eg 111 mental health option, Crisis team, Mental health Liaison, Inpatient.
Time to explore your role in relation to accessing support for your clients’ mental health difficulties.
