Tea/coffee will be available, but we are unable to provide lunch so please bring your own.

In this 4 hour workshop we will cover:
- What do we mean by ‘recovery’ in relation to mental health and substance use difficulties?
- How the mental health system fits together – tiers of service and ‘stepped care’.
- What mental health treatment works when people are still using substances.
- A more detailed look at services, their offer, thresholds /criteria and referral pathways.
- Third sector –eg MIND, Sue Lambert Trust, Menscraft.
- NHS – eg Recovery College, Talking Therapies, Primary Care, CMHT.
- Urgent and emergency services – eg 111 mental health option, Crisis team, Mental health Liaison, Inpatient.
- Time to explore your role in relation to accessing support for your clients’ mental health difficulties.
Please only book a place if you are certain you can attend. Places are limited and absences impact on others that could benefit from this training.
