Event description
How can creativity help with our mental health and wellbeing? A free practical session to explore creativity and catharsis.

About this event

22-year-old Jaya Gordon-Moore (also known as JayaHadADream) has been leading creative-focused workshops for the past year and a half. Jaya will be hosting a discussion about creativity and catharsis; how creativity directly and indirectly helps with mental wellbeing. This discussion will involve Jaya sharing her lived experiences in the community organisation realm and what inspired her to concentrate on creative opportunities. How can we support effective creative work better? How can we expand this work? The discussion will be interactive, and you will be invited to share your experiences, feelings, and thoughts!

This session has been organised by Connecting Notts, Nottingham's Youth Cultural Partnership.
