Description

The event is open to members of staff from the University of Essex and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust

This meeting will help to bring together colleauges from the University of Essex and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in a way that will mutually benefit clinical practice and research. It is rare for a frontline provider of mental health services and a University to have such strong links. It is hoped that, by combining our clinical and research expertise, we can make a real difference to the lives of people suffering with mental health problems as well as promoting resilience and positive mental health. The meeting will facilitate the formation of collaborative groups around contemporary mental health issues and priorities aligned with the following three themes:

  • Understanding people's experience of Mental Health
  • Building Resilience and Positive Mental Health
