Mentoring Workshop for Managers

1-hour mentoring sessions for managers of apprentices taking courses at the University of Chichester. These sessions will take place online.

The sessions will outline the roles and responsibilities of an apprenticeship workplace mentor including:

• Setting up regular apprentice check ins
• Apprenticeship Compliance: Off the Job Hours and Skills Scans
• Making the most of progress reviews
• Planning workplace activity to mirror academic courses
• Working with the apprenticeship standard
• Planning for End Point Assessment
• Supporting apprentice engagement

The sessions will also provide online resources, including links to resources such as the apprenticeship standards, EPA Plans and acess to our Apprentice platform, Maytas Hub.
