About this event
MERLON aims at offering an integrated modular local energy management framework. We offer an optimisation framework for local energy systems considering the high volatile distributed renewable energy sources.
Optimization in MERLON is applied at multiple levels, encompassing the optimal coordination of local renewable / clean energy generation, as well as the provision of flexibility to facilitate maximum integration of renewable energy. In this way, cuts are avoided and those needs of the auxiliary network are met in a balanced way.
