Bring your camera phone, wrap up cosy and warm and join us for a Photography Walking Workshop capturing the excitement and fun of Christmas in the City.

So - what does the event look like?

We'll meet inside the Winter Gardens at 3.00pm by the Millennium Gallery entrance and begin the workshop with some basic tips around composition and how to see our world in a new and creative way. We'll then walk around the City Centre with several stops to take festive photos that capture that atmosphere of Christmas in the City. This workshop will help you see your surroundings in a new light, encouraging you to move beyond basic shots by experimenting with angles, composition, and creative techniques. You'll gain confidence in your photography skills and learn how to capture exciting images with just your phone.

We'll end the workshop with a chance to look at each other's photos and enjoy our complementary mulled wine or hot chocolate.

As mentioned above, also included in the price is a one hour follow-up Photoshop Express tutorial to take place over Zoom. This will be using the Photoshop Express free app and will go through the basic editing techniques and look at how we can turn our photos into art. A bonus video showing you how to then turn your favourite image into a greetings card is also included.
