Are there toilets?

Accepted Answer

There are no toilets at the car park. There are none along the route, but I will point out discreet spots for 'wild wees'! We will be able to use the pub toilets on our return.

Question 2

Will I be the only person showing up alone?

Accepted Answer

Probably not! Most women who attend these walks do so for the first time without knowing anyone. We're a really friendly and welcoming bunch :)

Can I get there using public transport?

Question 4

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but they are required by law to be kept on a short lead on access land during ground nesting bird season (from 1st March to 31st July) and when walking through fields with livestock.

Question 5

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Hiking boots or shoes with good grip and ankle support
Snacks/lunch to sustain you for around 5-6 hours
Rucksack
Water (at least 1L)
Waterproofs
Warm layers
Hat and gloves/Sun hat and sun cream
A small first aid kit with any personal medications
Walking poles, sit mat, hot drink (optional extras)

What time do I need to arrive?

We aim to meet at 9.45m to set off at 10am.

Question 7

Can I get a refund if I can no longer make it?

Accepted Answer

This event is non-refundable. If you can no longer attend you are more than welcome to sell your ticket to someone else but please let me know if you do so. No swaps to other events unless this has been agreed.
