Merton Voluntary Service Council (MVSC) is conducting research into the state of the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector. This builds on similar research in 2016 and 2013.

The voluntary sector has always been responsive and agile when adapting to ever changing community need and operating environments. The last year has really tested this and MVSC is proud of the sector’s response. For many organisations it has changed the way in which they work and deliver their services.

Findings will directly inform the early identification and support work that the Council is initiating with local partners.

We recognise the challenges organisations and small groups have faced but want to know more and explore how to support you and your community moving forward.

Ian Beever is hosting 3 online events to discuss what is needed in the future for your organisation to continue its vital work locally. This will also shape how we best support and represent you.
