Mesothelioma and lung cancer study day

There will be presentations from several speakers about topics relevant to mesothelioma, lung cancer and benign asbestos related diseases. Speakers will include:

Professor Nick Maskell, Consultant Respiratory Physician and Chair of the Board of Trustees for Mesothelioma UK – ‘An update on clinical trials in mesothelioma’

Dr Anna Bibby, Consultant Respiratory Physician - ‘Update on the ASSESS-Meso and how we can help patients make treatment and planning decisions ‘

Dr Anthony Edey, Consultant Thoracic Radiologist – ‘Diagnosing mesothelioma, lung cancer and asbestos diseases radiologically’

Laura Wilkinson, Senior Associate RWK Goodman – ‘Advice for patients regarding legal claims, access to funding for private medical treatment and silicosis – the new asbestosis?’

RCP and RCN accreditation is being sought.

Lunch will be provided as well as networking drinks and nibbles, which will be served afterwards on our roof terrace overlooking the city - weather permitting.
