About this event

  • 2 hours

Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality.

It's primarily for people who don't currently belong to another form of church, so if you are new, it is a great place to start. All families, church goers or not are very welcome.

It's all about the kids (honest). Well, it is all about the kids, but its a place where parents, carers and helpers feel at home and fulfilled as they help out.

We deliberately meet at a time that suits people who may not easily be free on a Sunday.

Our sessions typically includes a welcome, a creative time doing messy things that help us to explore a Bible story, a short time where we sing, pray, and then share in a picnic style meal around tables.

It's fun. It's family. It's about growing together. And when we refer to families, we accept that there are different kinds of families. It's the things that we value that holds us together though.

Our aim is to introduce people to Jesus who promises that we can have life in all its fullness. This is an opportunity to encounter him and to grow closer to him.

Messy Church Crowland is a joint venture carried out by the Methodist Church and the Church of England working together in partnership. We would love you to join us.
