Event description

Description

What is Method Acting? It's the most enjoyable and effective technique of acting in the 21st Century. And it's not as mystical as it seems. This workshop has been created specifically for young actors (Year 6+) to introduce them to the concepts of the great Method teachers: Strasberg, Meisner, Adler, Hagen and Esper. In two hours, you'll learn how to:

  • change over from musical theatre performance to straight acting

  • adjust your acting to the needs of the camera

  • overcome stage fright

  • make your acting more honest, fearless and fascinating!

Presented by American School of Acting's principal teacher, Bryan Bounds, professional US actor, voiceover artist, teacher, writer, producer and director with 35-years' professional experience, currently starring with David Tennant in the film, ‘Mad To Be Normal’.

Other Summer Workshops include:

July 01: American Accent Workshop

July 29: Audition and Self Tape Masterclass

September 02: American Accent Workshop
