Methodist Church Pioneering Safeguarding Surgeries

With any pioneering activity, such as a new place for new people, or any form of community outreach activity, it is crucial to consider safeguarding in the initial stages of planning, rather than trying to adjust planning later to ensure good safeguarding practice is embedded.

These drop-in surgeries are an opportunity to ask questions, or describe describe a project and get advice. Neil van Holland, Regional Officer for Safeguarding and NPNP/pioneering regional lead, will be available to offer expertise and support.

Whether you are already involved in a pioneering project, or just have a germ of an idea in your mind, come along and discuss the issues with Neil, so your initiative can be as safe a place as possible for people to come.
