Methods Process Overview

The objective of the Methods process overview is to show participants the process and how methods [Statistical Definition] fit into the National Accounts Development Framework.
To explain what is expected of them by explaining the following:
National Accounts Methods form the heart of National Accounts compilation;
Methods are the means by which primary source data are converted into National Accounts aggregates;
The ONS Code of Practice (Principle 4) requires that methods be sound and their quality assured; and how the National Accounts Methods process is designed to ascertain that this is the case.
