Special Exhibition: 150 Years of The Crime Museum

The next exhibition at the Police Museum will mark 150 years of The Crime Museum. To acknowledge the anniversary and for only the second time this century, we are inviting you in to see exhibits from the Crime Museum collection.

They tell the stories of the famous and innovative cases investigated by the Metropolitan Police including the Great Train Robbery, the first murder conviction using a fingerprint, the cases of Dr Crippen and John Christie, and the Brides in the Bath murders and how justice for victims has always been at the centre of Met investigations.

Although carefully chosen for display, the material contained in the Museum relates to the history of policing and crime and includes material not suitable for children. We therefore do not admit guests under the age of 16 years old.

Please note, this is NOT The Crime Museum at New Scotland Yard, which remains closed to the public.
