Description
William Sitwell's Supper Club is excited to announce a summer special event: a sizzling Mexican BBQ! Following a sell-out dinner in March acclaimed Mexican chef Edson Diaz-Fuentes, of London's fabulous Santo Remedio, is returning to create a midsummer spectacular. Set in the beautiful grounds and house of Weston Hall this dinner will kick off with Mexican cocktails and canapés as well as fizz, and Warner's gin mixed with delectable Double Dutch tonics. Dinner will then include octopus tostada, duck taquito, lamb cutlets and grilled cactus and finish with a sumptuous Mexican dessert with ice cream.
Edson's restaurant Santo Remedio been listed in both the Michelin Guide 2019 and Good Food Guide 2019. The restaurant has won praise from a host of food critics including Jay Rayner, Giles Coren and Tim Hayward. Edson trained under renowned chef Alejandro Ruiz at Casa Oaxaca in Oaxaca City, regarded as the mecca of Mexican food, which was named as one of Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants in 2014. Born in Mexico City, he is passionate about cooking authentic, regional food with vibrant colours and exquisite flavours. The evening starts with drinks at 7pm.
