Course Reference: MCB715
Who should attend:

About the course
This one day workshop explores and demonstrates some simple, but effective approaches to enable teachers, trainers and support assistants to improve their understanding of why inappropriate behaviour happens, prevent disruption and defuse situations so that they can get on with teaching and training and give students a more positive opportunity to achieve their full potential.

- improve their understanding of the main causes of challenging or disruptive behaviour and state the ‘manifestations’ of poor behaviour
- review the standards established by Ofsted (Sept 15) in managing challenging behaviours
- consider a range of strategies to help manage challenging and disruptive behaviour
- agree on some top tips to better manage some of these behaviours
