Who should attend:
Classroom teachers and tutors who wish to review, and improve on their promotion of a range of broader skills to assist their learners in preparing for their next steps in employment, self-employment, education and training, to meet the Ofsted Common Inspection framework criteria and grade descriptors for Teaching Learning and Assessment, and Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare.
About the course
“how well learners develop the personal, social and employability skills, including English, mathematics and ICT skills, required to achieve their core learning aims and appreciate the importance of these skills in the context of their progression and career aims”.
This one day workshop will help colleagues to identify and focus on developing a broader range of skills to enhance their learners’ prospects of being successful in their desired career paths. There will be opportunities for colleagues to share their current practice and to action plan for improved promotion of these skills in their future practice.
