MH Training - Everyday ICT for the Workplace

This 3 hour workshop aims to introduce the principles and skills required to operate basic ICT systems that may be needed in the modern workplace. This course will aim to provide a fundamental understanding of the most common software used such as Windows, Microsoft Office and Outlook as well as basic skills such as saving and printing.
Learners should leave this session being able to:
Access their computer
Identify where to find different programmes on their computer (search for programmes on Windows)
Use the basic functions in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrate how to open, save and create new files
Identify and use the basic functions of Outlook and other email programmes (how to create and send emails)
Demonstrate how to search for emails and set up your email account (including signatures)
Perform simple searches using the internet
Who Should Attend?
This session is ideal for anyone with limited ICT skills or who struggles with the principles of ICT in the Workplace.
This is not a suitable course for individuals who regularly use ICT in the workplace already.
