MH Training - Universal Credit: A General Update and How It May Affect Your...

This 2 hr course aims to outline and explain the recent changes to Universal Credit and help learners identify how these changes may affect their job. The course is aimed at housing support and social services employees who regularly deal with customers whom will be effected by Universal Credit Changes.
For learners to go away from the session with a basic understanding of the following:
Recent changes to the Universal Credit System
How these changes may affect their customers and issues their customers may face as a result.
Some simple and straightforward strategies for assisting their customers with issues such as budgeting and household financial management.
To be able to identify the possible implications for both their customers and themselves if recent changes to Universal Credit is not managed effectively.
Who should attend?
Individuals from a housing support or Social Services background wanting to learn some simple tips and strategies for supporting their customers with issues that may arise from Universal Credit Changes.
