As you are aware, the Public Health Agency recently requested the MHFA Steering Group, led by AWARE, to develop a 4-hour MHFA refresher course, which participants can attend three years after completion of the full MHFA (Adult) programme to renew their certification.

The steering group are currently finalising the draft programme and it has been agreed that the pilot is best delivered to current MHFA Trainers to ensure valuable feedback from peers in refining the programme.

As such, you are invited to attend one of two pilot deliveries. This event listing is for the face to face delivery taking place in the Seamus Heaney Homeplace, Bellaghy. If you would prefer to attend the online programme in Antrim on Thrusday 9th May, please see separate event listing in the email from Helen.

This will be delivered to you as participants, to test out the structure, content, and activities, and you will be invited to issue feedback on the programme thereafter.

Venue details will be confirmed with all participants one week in advance. Refreshments will be provided.
