MHRA Board Meeting held in public

The MHRA Board will meet in public on Tuesday 19 October 2021 from 10.00 am until 12:30 pm (BST) by webinar.

The agenda for this meeting will address Agency performance, looking at the current issues from the CEO’s point of view as well as the Agency’s performance on the Balanced Scorecard in Month 5. The meeting will also address; scientific innovation and how the Agency is accelerating the approval and diversification of patient recruitment for clinical trials; what assurances can be provided by the Patient Safety & Engagement Committee and Organisation Development and Remuneration Committee and addressing corporate governance, what are the mitigations for the most important risks on the Corporate Risk Register?

We welcome members of the public at this meeting. Observers from the public can submit questions in advance, and there will also be a question and answer session during the meeting. Please be advised that the agenda timings and topics are subject to change.

How do I pre-submit questions to the Board?

You can submit questions to the MHRA Board through the Eventbrite registration form, or alternatively email them to conferences@mhra.gov.uk by 11.00 am (BST) on Thursday 14 October 2021.

You may be selected to ask your pre-submitted question on camera during the question and answer session. If your question is selected, we will contact you directly to establish your consent.

When will I receive details of how to join the meeting?

Once your registration is confirmed, further joining instructions will be sent 48 hours before the meeting. These will include details of how to access the webinar, and how to submit questions, as well as links to the papers that will be discussed in the meeting.

How do I cancel my attendance if my plans change?

Email conferences@mhra.gov.uk with the email you used to register attendance and we will cancel your booking.

Meeting recording:

We will be recording this meeting using the Zoom recording function and plan to make this recording available for public viewing for up to three years.
