7. How is the Centres of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI) programme progressing in order to develop and apply regulatory science?

8. What were the results of the evaluation of the Patient and Public Involvement Strategy and how will these help put patients at the heart of all Agency activities?

9. Is the Board assured that the current Health & Safety measures are effective and how can these be further strengthened?

EXTERNAL PERSPECTIVE

We welcome members of the public at this meeting. Observers from the public can submit questions in advance on the items on the agenda at the September meeting. Questions on these topic areas will be prioritised and addressed at the question and answer session during the meeting. This is a Board Meeting held in public and not a public meeting and it will be at the Chair’s discretion to accept ad hoc questions on the day if there is available time.

How do I pre-submit questions to the Board?

You can submit questions on the items for discussion at the meeting to the MHRA Board through the Eventbrite registration form, or alternatively email them to conferences@mhra.gov.uk by 09.00 am (GMT) on Monday, 9 September 2024. We will not accept any pre-submitted questions after this deadline.

You may be selected to ask your pre-submitted question on camera during the question and answer session. If your question is selected, we will contact you directly to establish your consent.

When will I receive details of how to join the meeting?

Once your registration is confirmed, further joining instructions will be sent 48 hours before the meeting. These will include details of how to access the meeting, and how to submit questions, as well as links to the papers that will be discussed in the meeting.

How do I cancel my attendance if my plans change?

Email conferences@mhra.gov.uk with the email you used to register attendance and we will cancel your booking.

We want you to be able to access and participate in the meeting. If you have any access requirements, please let us know when registering.

Meeting recording:

We will be recording this meeting using the Zoom recording function and plan to make this recording available for public viewing for up to three years.
