How do I sign up to play?

When you arrive at our studios, there will be a sign up sheet, first come, first served.

If I have a ticket, can I bring a friend?

All guests are encouraged to register their attendance via this event link. All attendees' names will be checked on the door. When tickets are sold out, please email Emmavie.mbongo@pirate.com with your full name and email address to be added to the waiting list.

About this event

UPDATE: Let's jam! At the end of this event, we will now host a jam and invite all performers, artists, bands and musicians to hop in and play a completely improvised jam. Everyone is invited. Bring your instruments and your creativity.

MIC is our new monthly event at Pirate Birmingham, where our communal area becomes a performance stage for bands, soloists, instrumentalists, spoken word artists and more. If you're not in Birmingham, MIC is also in London and coming to more Pirate cities soon.

Every other third Wednesday of the month from 6pm - 9pm, participate as a performer or an audience member for free, it's a great chance to connect with the artists who share your London studios.

Perform one song — come prepared with original music or your spin on a cover.
