REDAWN webinar 2: This is a rerun of the recorded webinar originally presented on 29 July 2020 with a new live Q&A session.
This event will use existing case studies and demonstration plants to review the potential benefits of recovering energy in water networks and the social, institutional, and political challenges to implementing this in the EU.
The session will be led by Dr Aonghus McNabola (Trinity College Dublin)

Organiser of Micro hydropower in water networks-case studies from REDAWN (prerecorded)
REDAWN aims to improve the energy efficiency of water networks through the installation of innovative micro-hydropower technology. This technology will recover wasted energy in existing pipe networks across irrigation, public water supply, process industry, and waste-water network settings.
REDAWN is a 3-year research project bringing together 15 partners from 5 countries around the Atlantic coast working towards greater efficiency in water networks.
