Professor Trish Reay (PhD University of Alberta, MBA University of Alberta)

Professor Trish Reay will present some of her new work investigating how a Northern Canadian health authority is collaborating with communities in an effort to improve health. She will also discuss links to her recent book chapter: Creating and Sustaining the Right Kind of Space for Organizational Learning in Primary Healthcare in Mobilizing Knowledge in Healthcare: Challenges for Management and Organization. Theoretically, this work helps to explain how health professionals and managers can take action to engage in innovation and organizational change.

Profile

Trish Reay (PhD University of Alberta, MBA University of Alberta) is a Professor in Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Alberta School of Business where she teaches MBA and Bachelor of Commerce courses in Organizational Change, Implementing Public Policy and Family Business. She also holds a part-time affiliation as Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Warwick Business School. She is the Academic Director for the Centre for Effective Business Management of Addiction Treatment at the Alberta School of Business. As Editor-in-Chief of Organization Studies, she is dedicated to providing help and encouragement for authors who would like to publish in OS.
