About this event
After the success of our previous microbiome webinar we are pleased to announce we will be hosting another microbiome webinar on May 18th 2022, 'The diverse roles of human and animal gut microbiota in health and disease'.
The following speakers will be giving talks between 14:00 and 16:00 (BST) with a Q&A session at the end.
- Lesley Hoyles from Nottingham Trent University: Microbiota-associated metabolites and their interactions with the gut-brain axis.
- Christian Zenner from Technical University Munich (TUM): Targeted gut microbiota interventions to modulate immune responses in chicken.
- Andrew Pridmore of Don Whitley Scientific: The hidden role of the Don Whitley Scientific Laboratory.
- Hilary Browne from the Sanger Institute: Ecology of human gut spore-forming bacteria.
