1st symposium of the GW4 Community: Microfluidics and modelling for investigating cellular heterogeneity
Living Systems Institute, University of Exeter, Streatham Campus, EX4 4QD
Thursday 7 and Friday 8 June 2018, 10:00 - 16:00
Event Information
The organising committee for this newly established GW4 community would like to invite you to this two-day event aimed at fostering collaborations within and outside the GW4 Universities.
The event will give you the possibility to interact with other GW4 researchers in the broad fields of microfluidics, mathematical modelling and single-cell biology as well as experts in these fields from both industry and academia (a full list of participants can be found at the bottom of this page).
We will aim to achieve the following objectives in a dynamic, flexible and relaxed atmosphere (a tentative program can be found here):
- Establish links between GW4 researchers in the field
- Foster links between the GW4 research community, industry and other academics in the field
- Start to develop focussed, interdisciplinary projects with members across GW4
- Plan for the continuation of this community in the future
Programme
A copy of the final programme can be found here.
Venue / location
The symposium will be taking place at the University of Exeter's Living Systems Institute. For travel information, please see the University's Travel Webpages.
Hotel information
We have provisionally booked accommodation with the Mercure Rougemont Hotel in Exeter City Centre. Please state when registering any accommodation you will require.
