About Your Course Presenter:

Mark Bladen is a registered Dental Technician with over 30 years of experience in many aspects of Dental Technology and now manages his own Crown & Bridge Laboratory in Worcester specialising in private restorative work for a select group of dentists.

Mark has demonstrated all over the world, including Japan & South Africa, with many of the worlds leading ceramists at numerous exhibitions and courses. He currently specialises in Digital Ceramic workflows. Mark has recently embraced in-house milling along with GC's Initial's latest Zirconia solutions to achieve digital workflows which maximise efficiency whilst maintaining the superior level of aesthetics with which his name is synonymous.

Aims

To Provide the latest information on materials and hints and tips on how to get the optimal results when Microlayering via theoretical and hands - on content.

To arm particpants with knowledge, skills, and confidence required for them to introduce Zirconia Coloring liquids and ceramic micro-layering to their laboratories and gain hints and tips for reliable outcomes and efficient learning curve.

Objectives

Learn how to characterise Zirconia restorations starting at green state using Zr Coloring liquids though to effective use of stains for internal characterisation before microlayering to create the ultimate aesthetics.

Learn about:

  • The latest material technology
  • Design Principles for Microlayering
  • Material selection considerations to achieve predictable shade and effect matches
  • Firing schedules

Gain expert tips and tricks for ultimate aesthetics.

Practice using the latest materials technology from Gc's Initial Family: Zirconia Disk Multilayered Elite, Zr Coloring Liquids and IQ ONE SQIN System). You will complete a step by step hands on session and produce a 4 unit Zr Bridge with Gum work which is yours to take away and add to your portfolio.
