Microsoft Excel - Making Spreadsheets Work For You Workshop (Thetford)

A short workshop designed for those who would like to enhance their skills in Microsoft Excel in order to make spreadsheets more advanced.

Do you feel that if you knew a little more, you could save yourself a lot of time when using Microsoft Excel?

If that is you then this course will develop your abilities and understanding of the Microsoft Excel programme so that you can develop documents to be proud of.

It will make sure you have the tips and tricks to complete your Excel activities more effectively and quickly.

The format will be “teach and try” where we show you what to do then you will be given examples to try it out for yourself.

What will I learn?

• Highlighting data using specific criteria and the Conditional Formatting function
• Creating easy data entry using Dropdown lists
• Absolute formula references
• Commonly used LOGICAL Formulae
• Using Mail merge to extract data from Excel into Word documents and emails

Who is the course for?

Those with a basic understanding of Excel and who want to learn more to help to understand its slightly more advanced features.

Will I have to provide anything?

If you have one, you can bring in a USB (memory) stick so you can take home the example files and work completed in the course.

The memory needed will be less than 1 Gigabyte so any old memory stick you have lying around with a little bit of space on it would be OK.
