Description
This course is designed to train users with a complete understanding of the main functions and key features within Microsoft PowerPoint. Delegates will be taken through a progressive step-by-step process to create a powerful and dynamic PowerPoint slideshow presentation. We will start by covering the process of setting up a presentation, input test, images, graphs and movies. We will also include the process of editing and the use of proofing tools for creating stunning graphics and visuals. We will work with both; importing graphics from the web and creating our own graphs. We will setup a slideshow and use a range of animations and transitions. We will also work on formatting print outs of slides and hand-outs.

The PowerPoint use environment - ribbons, toolbars, scroll bar and menus. Opening, closing and saving your presentation. Accessing online help tools. Understanding and changing PowerPoint Master slide layouts and selecting/modifying templates (colour schemes/designs, backgrounds and themes). Adding text to your slides, selecting objects and formatting text. Using bulleted lists in a PowerPoint presentation. Using PowerPoint graphics drawing facilities to dynamically enhance a slide and adding graphics from the web. Creating and modifying charts to illustrate data and linking this with Excel. Enhancing the appearance of text in a slide and use of WordArt features. Using spell and grammar check to find and replace errors. Setting up a slide show with a variety of special effects. Working on timings and dynamic animation presentations.
