This Introduction course will provide delegates with the necessary skills to create, edit, format and print a PowerPoint Presentation as well as the ability to setup and run a slide show.
No prior knowledge or experience of Microsoft PowerPoint 365 is assumed or required. It would be beneficial to have a workable knowledge of Windows and an ability to use the mouse and keyboard.
This course is designed for new users who wish to understand the basics of PowerPoint 365 and produce efficient presentations.
NB-if you bring a USB you can have a copy of all the examples to take away (see trainer on the day)
Course will cover:
· PowerPoint 365 Environment: QAT/Ribbon Customisation, Task Pane, Exploring the Ribbon
· Getting Started: Create New Presentation, Open/Save Presentation, Switch between Presentations, Different Views, Different Slides, Reuse Slides, Rearrange Slides in a Presentation.
· Text Manipulation: Add/Delete Text in a Slide, Paragraph Formats, Bullet/Numbers List, Format Painter
· Colour Themes and Backgrounds
· Illustrations/Text: WordArt, Shapes, Text Box, Shadowing and Effects
· Photos/Images/Video
· Basic Tables
· Basic Charts
· Basic SmartArt
· Printing the Presentation: Slides, Handouts
· Animations: Add Transitions, Add Animations, Remove and Delete Transitions/Animations
· Adding Speaker Notes
· Set Up a Slide Show
· Create and Run Slide Show: Pen/Highlighter, Laser Pointer, Whiteout/Blackout, Keep/Discard Annotations
