Description
Develop your understanding of Microsoft Project to manage increasingly sophisticated projects. This course will develop the delegate skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project. This training will cover the topics covered in our intermediate level course, followed by extensive practical exercise-driven training covering the range of advanced applications within Microsoft Project. This will include, topics such as determining; critical tasks, slack time, keeping track of the project, resolving resource over-allocations and managing numerous projects simultaneously.

Covering a review of existing Microsoft Project knowledge. How to identify, filter and sort a critical path. Identifying slack time and how to change the slack time allowance. If resource or task is delayed learn how to split a task. How to resolve resource over-allocation through the use of the manually and levelling methods. Find out ways to keep track of your project, including baseline plans, interim plans, using the tracking toolbar and updating actual work on a daily basis. How to manage several projects simultaneously, including consolidating projects and task linking between projects. Creating a base project with tasks and resources that are used on a regular basis, as a future projects template.
