Microsoft Showcase School Open Day at West Acton Primary School

Two years ago, we began with a clear vision and a digital strategy designed to transform teaching and learning across our school. Come and learn how our journey has unfolded—how we moved from planning to implementation and how this vision has become a reality in every classroom.

Discover the research that shaped our approach, including the audits and financial planning that ensured sustainability. Learn about the CPD that equipped our staff, the rollout process we followed and the troubleshooting, points to consider and lessons learned along the way. Most importantly, see it alive in practice: visit classrooms across different ages and subjects, observe edtech in action and speak to staff and pupils who have experienced the transformation first-hand.

We warmly welcome you to our large, vibrant and diverse London primary school, which includes a Nursery and an Additionally Resourced Provision for pupils with ASD. We also serve an above-average number of Pupil Premium and EAL pupils, and we are proud of how our digital strategy supports inclusion, access and achievement for all children.

Please note that we do not have on-site parking for this event. We are just a three-minute walk from West Acton Tube Station on the Central Line and within easy reach of Ealing Broadway Station, which has rail connections, bus routes and nearby car parks if you are driving.
