Please be aware these sessions are for practitioners across Scotland who have a Glow account. A staff Glow account will be required to access the Microsoft Team where the session will take place.
This four part series will support you in learning about the wide range of tools which are available from Microsoft and Glow. It will show how these tools can support learning and teaching and will link to the 21st Century Learning Design framework from Microsoft.
Session one will focus on tools to support attendees understanding of how some of the Microsoft products can develop Knowledge Construction, Collaboration, Self-Regulation and Skilled Communication for learners and staff alike. Each session in this series is unique and you may wish to dip and out of the series depending upon your needs and product knowledge.
This webinar aims to support practitioners looking to complete the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) professional development program and exam. Educators holding a MCE certification can prove they have the skills needed to provide rich, customised learning experiences for their students that incorporate critical 21st century skills using Microsoft tools.
Aims:
- Ensures faculty/staff have basic understanding of Microsoft Education tools
- Ensures faculty/staff can demonstrate how to successfully incorporate 21st century into lessons
- Ensures faculty/staff know which Microsoft Education tools can support which specific 21st century skills
Products discussed and demonstrated in this session include Teams, Word, Powerpoint, Edge and Bing
An information and launch event for the MCE program is taking place on 27th April 2022. The online exams will take place throughout 6th -10th and 13th – 17th June.
