About this event

We are pleased to announce that the Kilbroney Adventure Camps are now open for bookings and we are really looking forward to welcoming young people to these 5 days of fun and faith-filled residentials.

The camps will involve the usual mix of outdoor activities, games, worship, teaching, small groups and campfires. The Kilbroney Centre has made some exciting changes over the past 2 years to develop new outdoor areas, refurbishing the accommodation and extending the Games room for larger meetings.

Cost: Cost per person is £185 with £65 deposit* asked when booking and the £120 balance payable by arrival. The cost for siblings is reduced by 15% (to £157.25) with £92.25 payable by arrival. We realise that this is an important opportunity for young people so if you or a family you know are struggling to pay this amount then please contact us about bursaries available.

(*Deposit does not include Eventbrite booking fee)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF CAMP

Morning and Evening Blast is a time for everyone to get together for worship and to learn more about the Bible and God’s plan for our lives.

Small Groups occur after evening blast and provide an opportunity to talk a little bit about the day past, what we learned about life and God and to pray together.

Group Activities are activities and team challenges that campers get to do together as a group. On Middle Camp these may include canoeing and kayaking, gorge walk, soft arrow combat.

Evening Events are activities for everyone each evening including campfire and much more.

ABOUT US

Kilbroney Adventure Camps are an initiative of the Church of Ireland in Down and Dromore diocese as part of our objective to support the faith of young people and their families. Our aims for these camps are to:

  • Grow young people in their faith through providing bible study, devotions, worship & fellowship.
  • Teach and develop skills in leadership, teamwork and in new activities.
  • Build self-esteem, regard for others and friendships.

The Kilbroney Centre is four stars rated accommodation for groups and is now one of the premier centres for youth groups in Northern Ireland. Accommodation includes meeting rooms, lounges, classrooms and a games room. It is surrounded by 11 acres of enclosed grounds at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. For more information on the Centre please visit it's website.

Our staff are highly experienced and include leaders who have both worked on youth camps and also directed outdoor residential centres. All leaders on the camp will also be vetted and trained for summer camp leadership.
