Supporting Mental Health in School
This two hour workshop is for parent/carers of autistic children or adults based in the Midlands.
Our Supporting Mental Health in School workshop will cover:
- The reasons why school can be hard for many autistic children and young people
- Consider the impact of mental health challenges on education
- How schools and parents/carers can work together to support mental health
- Tips for initiating conversations about mental health with school
Join this workshop to meet other local parents and develop your understanding around autism. This workshop will be held on Zoom. If you prefer to not be visible or audible on screen that is fine by us. This workshop is delivered by people with lived experience of autism.
