This workshop is available for parent carers accessing the Autism Hub in The Midlands.

The session will look at:

• What is autism

• Different profiles

• The autism spectrum

• Supportive strategies

This session is free. It is for parents, carers or those who care for autistic people (no diagnosis required) or their wider family, friend or support network living in The Midlands. You must be registered in advance.

Join this workshop to meet other parents and get some advice and support. This workshop will be held on Zoom. We will give advice on how to install and use Zoom before the workshop is held, if you require this. If you prefer to not be visible or audible on screen that is fine by us.

What is a Peer Educator?

Our Peer Educators facilitate our online workshops and 1:1 support. They have lived experience of autism, whereby they are either autistic themselves and/or are a parent or carer of an autistic person. They have personal experience and may also have professional experience too.
