Understanding Autistic Overwhelm, Meltdowns and Shutdowns

This two hour workshop is for parent/carers of autistic children or adults based in the Midlands. This workshop aims to increase parents and carers understanding of how stress and anxiety can impact autistic people and how best to support them.

Our Understanding Overwhelm, Meltdowns and Shutdowns workshop will cover:

  • Why autistic people may be more stressed/ anxious
  • What anxiety may look like
  • How to support people with anxiety and distressed behaviour

Join this workshop to meet other local parents and develop your understanding around autism. This workshop will be held on Zoom. If you prefer to not be visible or audible on screen that is fine by us. This workshop is delivered by people with lived experience of autism.
