The AV1 Inclusion Network brings together local authorities, schools, and education professionals from across the region to share experiences, outcomes, and best practice in supporting pupils through AV1. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, connect with peers, and explore how AV1 is helping to improve inclusion, attendance, and wellbeing for young people unable to attend school in person.

Midlands AV1 Best Practice & Networking Sessio

This half-day session brings together local authorities and schools to share best practice, learn from peers and strengthen the regional AV1 community. The agenda includes guest speakers Frances Shelbourne (Leicestershire Council) on AV1 use for medical needs, and Mark White (Corley Academy) on supporting pupils with complex communication and interaction needs. The morning will also feature a 20-minute table discussion, opportunities for networking, group reflections and a closing session to shape next steps for the Midlands AV1 network.
