Are you a Midlands-based director with a few shorts under your belt but unsure of your next steps? Do you want to learn more about how to direct for television, improve your directing skills or make that leap from shorts to your debut feature then the Directors Lab is for you.

What is it?

The Midlands Directors Lab will provide 10 Midlands-based directors the opportunity to take part in two days of roundtable discussions, workshops and panels with industry experts and most importantly working directors to learn more about next steps in film and television. We hope participants will leave the programme feeling more confident about their own journey, their own directing skills and perhaps offer insight into routes they had not thought of before. All whilst networking with other Midlands directors.
