A space to gather, worship and grow
What’s stirring beneath the surface
If you’re leading or supporting a fresh expression of church — or even just starting to explore something new — this day is for you.
You might be part of a small church trying to rethink how you connect with your local community. You might feel excited, overwhelmed, isolated or curious. Wherever you’re at, this is a space to pause, connect and be encouraged.
The Midlands Regional Hub is coming together for the first time. It’s not a big event. It’s a gently held space, rooted in the region and shaped by people who know the road.
What we’ll hold together
Craig Bird and Tim Evans will host the day, which will centre around story, worship and practical tools for community-focused mission.
Tim will be sharing how Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) can support those running community projects and churches looking to grow deeper local connections. We’ll also hear from Neil Roberts of Chelmsley Wood Baptist Church as he shares part of their inspiring story.
If you’re leading something that feels a little different, and you’re based in the Midlands, you are warmly invited to join us.
How we’ll shape the day
We’ll meet at Connection Church Centre in Kingshurst. There’ll be time for worship, food, story and prayer, with plenty of space for conversation and reflection.
Tickets are £20, which includes lunch, but if cost is a barrier, bursaries are available. Just drop Craig a line at craig.bird@restorecollective.org.
Numbers are limited to 25, so book early if you can.
