Event description
St Helena Hospice's Midnight Walk returns - this year with an 80s theme to celebrate our 35th Anniversary!

About this Event

Join us on Saturday 12th September as we rewind to the 80s for our 35th anniversary Midnight Walk!

Don your best outfits and hit the streets of Colchester for a great night out with family and friends whilst supporting your local hospice.

The Midnight Walk will start and finish at Stanfords, Colchester, and you can choose to walk either 4.5 or 9 miles. Both routes will pass our memory stop where you can place a personalised tag on our memory tree for any loved ones you’re walking for.

Men, women, boys and girls aged 11 and over can take part.

Everyone who signs up before 18th July will receive a special 80s themed Midnight Walk T-shirt. Unfortunately, if you sign up after this date you will not receive a T-shirt.

All participants will receive a Midnight Walk medal and delicious doughnut once they have completed their walk.

The Midnight Walk is kindly sponsored by Birkett Long.

Standard ticket prices are:

Adult (11+) - £ 20.00 + fees

Group (minimum of 6 adults) - £17.50 per person + fees

Your ticket fee only covers the cost of us putting on a safe and fun event so we rely on your fundraising to help us raise the vital funds we need to help local people face incurable illness and bereavement. By raising as much money as you can through sponsorship and donations, you will be helping our patients and their families to make every memory matter.

Registration will open from 8.30pm with walkers setting off at 10.30pm.

  • Under 18s must be accompanied at all times by a paying, participating adult. One adult can accompany up to 3 children
  • If you're signing up other adults, please ensure you include their personal details including their email and postal addresses, so we can send them the event pack and important communications for on the day of the event
  • Please read the terms and conditions below
