Ever wonder what Ramadan is about?
Ramadan is considered to be the most sacred month of the Islamic calendar. It is a month of celebration and reflection in our lives and reminds us all of Allah’s gift and generosity. All our prayers and good deeds in this month are magnified and the sense of unity amongst the Ummah is heightened!
HalalEat and the Halal Food Foundation are proud to serve you a multi faith Midsummer Night’s Iftar for one unique evening during the holy month of Ramadan to showcase our products, services and raise money for our charity partners.
Our core focus of the evening is giving! With your support and generosity we aim to raise at least £1,000 for our charity partner Human Aid. We hope you will join our efforts in helping changing the lives of the children, brothers and sisters at home and abroad.
Are there any ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This is a family event, and all ages are welcome. Please note children over 5 years old will require a ticket. Under 5 years old are admited free.
Due to seating arrangements, we can only accomodate 25 children under 5 years, and once the complimentary tickets are gone, no further allocations will be made.
If you have purchased a ticket and have children under 5 coming with you, please email the event organisers.
Are you supporting any charities, and will my ticket price go towards any donation?
Yes, Human Aid a charity with 100% donation policy. Part of the ticket sales revenue will go towards the charity and you will be able to make further donations on the day.
This is a non-profit based event.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The venue is a short 10 minutes walk from public transport and the nearest station is Whitechapel. There are no onsite parking facility, however there is parking available near venue and the resctrictions end from 5:30pm.
Due to major roadworks you cannot access Valance Road from Whitechapel Road. Please use alternate route; Bethnal Green Road.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Limited light snack and resfreshments will be available for children before Iftar.
However, parents/guradians are strongly advised to bring appropriate snack/food for their children ideally as we will not be serving any of the menu food to the children before Iftar.
Will the event be segregated?
This is a family event and we will not be operating any segration policy.
Will you have prayer facility?
Yes, there are separate prayer facility for Men and Women
Is your food Halal and do you have any certifcation from HMC?
All our food is HALAL and our catering partner is The Atrium. All meat are sourced fresh from Halal suppliers, and we have further requested and have been assured that all meat will be from HMC certified butchers/suppliers.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes and its free. Only ticket holders will be admitted.
All tickets will be sold on eventbrite and a limited number will be available for retail purchase through selected sponsor partner outlets. No tickets at the door.

***Event closes at 10:30pm and all guests are requested to vacate the venue before 11pm***

Only table holders will be alllocated reserved seating, all other tickets will be "FREE SEATING" unless otherwise stated on the table. We will have have 2 tables allocated for Male & Female only.
