Join us for a very special online talk with social documentary photographer Mik Critchlow
About this event
We hope you can join us for this very special online talk. Social documentary photographer Mik Critchlow (b. 1955) will take you on a journey through ‘Coal Town’, a remarkable photography project that spans over four decades, through which Mik continues to document his home town of Ashington.
Hear about how Mik started out in photography and the stories of the people and places in the photographs in the exhibition.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the talk, which promises to be an inspirational look back at life in South East Northumberland.
This event will be hosted on zoom. Registered participants will be emailed a link to join ahead of the event.
Coal Town is currently exhibited at Woodhorn Museum until Sunday 6th March 2022.
This Museums Northumberland event is hosted by The Bigger Picture and supported by Arts Council England and Northumberland County Council.
