With over 75 sponsored litter picks across Taverham & Drayton, attended by over 500 volunteers, we're thrilled to bring our expertise and passion to Mile Cross. Be part of this exciting new chapter with us, as we transform the area into a cleaner, more vibrant community, whilst raising funds for those experiencing post separation abuse 🚮👋🌍
START TIME: Event starts at 10am... please arrive from 9:15am if you wish to have longer than an hour of picking, or wish to help the organiser
MEETING POINT: We will meet at the The Phoenix Centre, 132a Mile Cross Road, Norwich, NR3 2LD.

CAR PARKING: Parking is available on Mile Cross Road and Kirk Patrick Road. Please ensure to park legally, avoiding double yellow lines.
END TIME: The litter pick is 1 hour in duration and ends at 11am, however we then have a group photo and have refreshments together after. Typically the whole event ends at 11:45am

All ages are welcome. Under 18s must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, including those undertaking their DofE. Those aged 5-15 years old can work towards their green Blue Peter badges - which gives children free access to 200 UK attractions.
There will be free refreshments afterwards (tea, coffee, hot choc, squash, cake and biscuits). If you have any allergens please let me know so that we can ensure you have options available to you.
All equipment is provided (hi vis, gloves, bin hoops and bin bags). Please wear closed toe shoes and suitable clothing, including long sleeve tops and long leg bottoms.
For Health & Safety reasons we ask that your attendance is booked in advance and a FREE ticket reserved for each member of your party. You do NOT need to print your ticket up to come to the event, just simply register :)
A First Aider and a First Aid box is always available at this event. There is a defibrillator available at the venue.
Event cancellation: In the event that we have extreme weather, the event will be cancelled via Eventbrite. You will receive an email notification 1 hour before the event would start. A Facebook post will also be shared and every effort to make contact with those who have booked tickets will be made.
