Walk This Way....

Daffodils are out – it must be Spring – woohoo!

Blow away those Winter cobwebs for a good cause by taking up our Miles for Mental Health Challenge; walking 34 miles over 3 days, from Wigan to Liverpool, April 24 – 26.

Good thing is you’ll not only be keeping fit and healthy but also making a difference to many people’s lives by raising funds for Imagine Independence.

Organisation for the walk is in the capable hands of seasoned, veteran hiker, Alan McCormick from our Wigan service. Alan can usually be found hiking wide open spaces but don’t worry, with the average (or in my case, below average) walker in mind he’s set out a route along the scenic Leeds to Liverpool Canal and made sure the walk is for all abilities, you can either complete the whole 3 days or join us anytime on the route for a shorter walk. Genius!

Dig out your comfy walking boots, get active, you can make a difference, we’d love you to join us!

Day 2 Route

10:00am - Leave Burscough Train Station
12:00pm - Scarisbrook Marina for break
12:15pm - Restart
2:15pm - Downholland for 30 min lunchbreak
2:45pm - Restart
4:45pm - Arrive in Maghull
