Join the Millennium Point Charitable Trust to celebrate emerging talent in the West Midlands at the fifth Millennium Point Trust Scholarship.

After a record number of applications, five talented young people from the West Midlands will present on regional topics to a panel of industry leaders and a live audience of businesses and influencers, to win a degree funded by Millennium Point Charitable Trust at Birmingham City University’s Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment.

Capital Breakfast’s Matilda New will host with a panel of judges including:

  • Simon Cox, Head of investigations at BBC Arabic and global journalism consultant.

  • Liz Mercuri, Unity Technologies and former BAFTA Young Games Designers Mentor.

  • Hala Lloyd, lead architect at HS2 in Birmingham.

  • Professor Hanifa Shah, the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Engineering & the Built Environment at Birmingham City University (BCU).

  • Gavin Wade, award-winning artist-curator and director of Eastside Projects in Digbeth.

Arrival food and drinks from 5:30pm
Scholarship Live Final (with interval) from 6:30pm
Drinks Reception and Networking approx 9:30pm*
